Bat Regulations

All specific bat regulations are also defined in the league-specific rules.

T-Ball:

  • All bats must be USABat certified.

Instructional:

  • All bats must be USABat certified.

Minor:

  • No longer than 32 inches
  • No specific weight/length ratio limit
  • Wood or metal is allowed
  • Non-wood and multi-piece wood bats must be USABat certified
  • USSSA/BBCOR bats are NOT allowed at this level


Major:

  • No longer than 32 inches
  • No specific weight/length ratio limit
  • Wood or metal is allowed
  • Non-wood and multi-piece wood bats must be USABat certified
  • USSSA/BBCOR bats are NOT allowed at this level


Pony:

  • No longer than 34 inches
  • Only -5 bats or less may be used. (The weight of the bat must be 5oz or less compared to the bat's length in inches)
  • Legal = Bat length is 33 inches and the bat weight is 28 ounces. (-5 difference)
  • Illegal = Bat length is 33 inches and the bat weight is 26 ounces. (-7 difference)
  • Only Full wood is allowed (no composites, half & half, etc.)
  • USABat/USSSA/BBCOR bats ARE allowed
